The Process
Eight steps, no surprises in between
You reach out with your product of interest, target volume and destination market β no commitment required at this stage.
Commercial samples shipped to your team for evaluation before any purchase order is discussed.
Grade, format, Incoterms and volume confirmed in writing, matched to the sample you evaluated.
AGROCALIDAD, BASC, and EUDR-ready traceability (where applicable) verified for the specific lot β not just a generic company certificate.
Purchase order confirmed. We consolidate volume across verified producers to reach your container minimum.
Final inspection at farm and plant before any container is booked β moisture, fermentation, Brix, caliber, or count, depending on product.
BASC-certified logistics partners, documentation handled end to end per your confirmed Incoterms.
Full documentation package on arrival. We stay available for the next order, not just the first one.
Buyer FAQ
Questions we get before the first order
What Incoterms do you work with?
FOB Guayaquil by default. CFR and CIF available on request.
What's your minimum order quantity?
One 20' container per product line. We consolidate volume across verified producers to reach this minimum β your order may represent several farms, documented and traceable.
Can we get samples before committing to an order?
Yes, always. Commercial samples are shipped for evaluation before any purchase order is confirmed β we don't ask buyers to commit sight-unseen.
What certifications come standard with a shipment?
AGROCALIDAD phytosanitary certification and BASC-certified logistics are standard on every shipment. EUDR-ready traceability, organic, and Fair Trade certification are available on request where the underlying lot qualifies.
What shrimp formats do you offer?
HOSO, HLSO, PUD, P&D, value-added (breaded/marinated), and cooking-quality (pre-cooked) β all standard export formats.
Which markets do you currently export to?
United States, European Union, China, and Japan for cacao and shrimp. Banana and plantain currently ship primarily to the EU, Russia, and the Middle East. Canada is an emerging destination following the July 2026 Ecuador-Canada trade agreement (pending ratification).
What are your typical lead times?
Lead times vary by product, volume and season β we confirm exact timing during the Specification & Quote stage (step 3 above), before you commit to an order.
What are your payment terms?
Payment terms are confirmed during the quote stage, based on order volume β we don't lock this in before you've seen numbers specific to your order.
